They released this on the 14th, has looked really good(although I got the impression that the graphics have gotten a facelift since this build). Just in case anyone didn't know.

Lemme know if anyone wants to mess around with the multiplayer, it's coop.

I'll probably be getting it for my birthday. I'll have to replay ME 2 again, this time with my renegade chick. First play through is always with my paragon guy.

I think ME2 has more of a direct effect than ME1 will...besides the obvious things like who lives and dies in ME1. For instance, I believe they said it would matter in ME2 if you had a love interest in ME1 and then went to a new one in ME2, as it's effectively a betrayal of sorts...and the LE from 1 would react as such maybe? Dunno the details.

Some things do matter, but are somewhat inconsequential: characters making cameos and such.

Really looking forward to it, even though they've failed to even make it a decent PC port(lack of keybinding options, poor FoV etc).

Yeah...at the time you decide that, it seems like a straightforward thing that doesn't necessarily have consequences. There was only a short conversation in ME2 if they live, but I expect that will play a role. At least...I'd be mildly disappointed if it didn't.

I agree, I'll be disappointed if it doesn't play a bigger role too.

Sad to hear about a poor PC port... GRRR

One of these days, if I ever become ungodly rich - I'll start a gaming company that develops cutting edge pc games, without being dubbed down like a lot of games have become.

It's not as bad as I probably made it sound. It's certainly no Force Unleashed(*shudder*). It just bothers me(and alot of others), that the spacebar is responsible for so many different actions because of the console controller limitation.

The spacebar handles Interact, Storm/Sprint, Into Cover, Out of Cover, Roll out of Cover, Vault over cover...and there's probably 1-2 more I forgot. Just wish you could rebind all those things to different keys, 'cause I have alot of spare in this game.

Also, I play on a widescreen monitor so the FOV doesn't bother me, but I guess others don't like it. I imagine they might do something about it at some point. It's less a slam on Bioware and more on EA and the games industry in general. PC games take a back seat to consoles because consoles sell better, yet we're forced to play games that are limited by 7yr old hardware(XBox), and oftentimes the controls are horrid, because you can't(or they didn't) optimize them for a PC. It's obnoxious to me, but it's the reality of the games industry at the moment.

I'm with you btw, when I get rich, I'm buying the DAoC IP license and getting to work on DAoC 2 imo :p
